A new screening programme, a mobile clinic, a wellbeing service for older adults: in healthcare, the idea is rarely the hard part. The hard part is the last mile, when a good plan meets unreliable staffing, low community trust, stretched budgets, and systems that were never built to work together. ECIPH's Partnerships for Healthcare Ideas and Delivery is built for exactly this stage. We work with governments, hospitals, CSR foundations, social entrepreneurs, and community organisations to shape early ideas into workable models, pilot them in real settings, and scale what works. Our role changes with the partnership: sometimes we co-design the service, sometimes we train the people delivering it, and sometimes we stay on as the evidence partner who tracks whether it is truly reaching people, sometimes, we implement the program directly too.
ECIPH is strategically positioned for this because we sit where ideas, evidence, and people meet. Our centres already work on wellbeing, sustainable development, and occupational and environmental health, so partners gain field experience that goes beyond theory. Our research and analytics team means every partnership is measured from the start rather than judged by anecdotes afterwards. Our MPH and certificate programmes give us a steady pool of trained public health professionals to support delivery on the ground.
